The service is free and open to all. Questions can be asked on the Bpi web site, via a form on the website www.eurekoi.org
or on the websites of participating libraries. Since June 2011, Eurêkoi also responds directly on Facebook
No question will remain without a response, within the limitations of the charter
. Even when a request is not part of the expertise of a librarian (a legal or medical consultation, for example), a redirection or possible avenues of research are provided.
Each library can decide to turn over its questions-and-answers to the database on national or global knowledge. They can thus be accessible on the network web site.
